Nigel J Hargreaves BDS MDentSci(Rest Dent)
Lead Implant Surgeon
Nigel qualified from Sheffield in 1988 with the KaVo prize in Oral Surgery. He went on to do a Masters Degree in Restorative Dentistry. He has worked in private practice for over twenty years.
Throughout this time, Nigel has completed advanced training in London, Austria, Italy, Portugal and the USA in the fields of implant, cosmetic and restorative dentistry alongside some of the world's leading clinicians.
After working in Manchester, Nigel came back to Yorkshire and built two successful referral practices that were focussed providing all aspects of dental implant treatments. Nigel's passion is smile and functional reconstructions, whether using veneers, crowns, natural teeth or integrating dental implants where teeth are missing.
Nigel regularly uses the 'All-on-Four' technique, whereby, a patient with no teeth, has a fixed bridge with a full set of teeth on dental implants in one day. This avoids the need for any form of denture to be worn and immediate function can be resumed.
Nigel is a respected member of The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, The Academy of Osseointegration, The Association of Dental Implantologists UK, The International College of Prosthodontists, The British Society of Occlusal Studies and The British Dental Association.
